🧠 4 Must-Read Books About ADHD and Neurodiversity

Over the past year and a half, I read 13 books about ADHD, Autism, and overall Neurodiversity. Instead, I encourage you to give these four a read:

🌸 Neuro Tribes

by Steve Silberman, this book gives an intriguing and in-depth history of neurodiversity and debunks the myth that neurodiversity isn't "new." Whether you are neurodivergent, know someone who is, or are simply curious, if you could only read one book on the matter, this book is it!

💡 You Mean I'm Not Lazy, Stupid, or Crazy?

By Kate Kelly, this book, while very short, gives a great introduction to ADD and leaves the reader with actionable steps to find support, diagnoses, and affirm they are not "crazy" as the world labels may neurodivergent folks. Rather this book assures them they are wired differently.

🐄 The Autistic Brain: Helping Different Kinds of Minds Succeed

by Temple Grandin, this book is a phenomenal story of an autistic person in our current time that grew up to become very educated, successful, and in the most literal sense, revolutionized a process that affected the lives of many.

⚡️ Faster Than Normal

by Peter Shankman and Edward Hallowell, this book gives a cheeky perspective on getting things done and being productive in a way that works well for the ADHD brain.
